Okay, so I’ve tried to search support but can’t find an answer or anything similar.
Anyway… I moved a show into the appropriate directory for TV Shows and let Plex scan it. It found it, but didn’t find any meta data. I don’t recall what happened next – exactly, but it went something like this – a few tries to get it to get the meta date – all failed. I decided that I’d try to change file names to get them to be read properly, so I deleted the show in Plex, not deleting the data, it advised that this action could not be undone, but I thought that was only a reference to the files if I deleted them… The problem is that no matter how I try, renaming the directory, the files, restarting the server, Plex just doesn’t see the directory or the files. I have verified that they exist and are playable…
