Just because the “Unanswered” list has hundreds of threads doesn’t mean they are all unanswered. Many are there because nobody marked them as answered.
Plex certainly has a long way to go to fix their poor customer support record, but geez, 15 hours? Get in line.
Your one question is also not in the right place as it concerns Roku with a Mac server and you posted in the Linux forum. If you post in the Roku forum you’ll likely to get an answer as the developer is very active to support users.

i appreciate that. yes i am expecting a lot i guess. just seemed like my questions should have been easy to find answers to and after searching others similar that were not answered its hard to believe the forums work. but i reposted my question in the proper place. we’ll see.
patience is indeed a virtue. we all want on demand customer service, but it’s honestly not realistic all of the time. hopefully now that your question has been placed in the proper place it will get resolved. i wish you the best (and me too)
