Deleting photo

Hi,

does anyone know ho to physically delete photos from photo albums directly from PLEX, rather than identifying them in the photo library and then finding it on the hard drive to delete it.

You have to enable media deleting in the server settings:

Once that is done, when you browse to the photo you want to delete, the Delete command will appear on the ellipsis menu:

This will only appear for the server owner (the account used to log into the Plex server). This applies to all media on your server, not just photos.

Sorry if I wanst’ clear enough. I can do that already from the server. What I’d like to be able to do is to being able to delete photos from my android phone or tablet, just as with movies.

I thought it would be enabled from all devices. I know it is on the Roku. I’ll have to try my Android phone later. But, again, only if you’re logged in as the server owner.

Any hint on how to do that from Plex media player on Android phones or tablets?

Hmm, I can’t find the Delete command on Android on my phone. I would expect to find it when clicking the icon under any photo. That’s where the delete command is in other libraries. It seems to be missing in Photo libraries.

It is really annoying…

What I’d like as a perfect behavior would to have automatic upload of photos (which I have) and then, form time to time, being able to delete the photos I don’t want to keep from my phone (which I cannot do).
