I am wondering how the volume levelling in plex amp is done, from a technical standpoint. Does it simply reduce the volume of each track to a standard level, or does it also do some kind of compression to equalize the dynamic range as well?
We essentially use ReplayGain 2.0. There’s a preamp and a limiter in the chain as well, configurable.
