I have detect intros in all areas enabled for my TV library, but it never detects my intros. I will see the activity circle spinning at the top which says its detecting intros, but nothing is happening. If i look at the disk where the files are, there is no disk activity. I am on Server 2019 and my Plex Version 1.30.1.6497 and my Plex installed on its own NVME drive. I never had this issue on my last PC. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Too add, if i look at the logging, it doesn’t that its even happening in the background despite the activiny arrows spinning around.
Which audio codec do the files use in their first audio track?
(Look at the Plex media info XML)
Also: the intro detection uses the default /temp folder for its work (i.e. not the Plex data folder). If that is located on a volume with not enough free space, it won’t work correctly.
Do also check for tools which aim to delete “obsolete” files, like CCleaner etc. Disable them temporarily.
Audio tracks are a mix of dts, dts-ma, dd and ddp. Temp folder would be on C drive which has plenty of space. I dont use any of the temp cleaners you are referring to.
Does Plex offer tech support to address issues like this or is the Plex community the only option for help?
