Was watching Plex with my wife last night and when I got back to the Home tab, I felt like the font size in the sidebar was quite a bit smaller than what I’m used to. Is this something that changed in the latest version? Gotta say, it’s VERY small, and I can only imagine the experience on smaller sets than mine (43"), particularly for those with poor eyesight.
Maybe it’s just me.
I noticed it, too, on one of the 8.17 beta releases, so yeah, it is new in 8.17. Caught me by surprise and made me wonder why decisions like this get made (since there was no notice or explanation).
Ok, good to know it’s not just me. I do know someone else as well who has noticed it, and one of his TVs is a 24" display and it’s barely legible now for him. Would be nice to get some kind of confirmation from Plex that this was either unintended, or could be looked at/updated in the next update.
I’m on 8.17.0 as well and I’m seeing the same thing. The font is significantly smaller compared to what it was previously. One of TVs in our house is pretty small so this is having a drastic quality of life impact for us on that one device for sure.
Is there a Plex employee that can comment on this change?
