Did the Forum Layout Change recently?

I’m on of those (eye rolls allowed) that views the forum in Category view.
Yesterday from the top I would see “Announcements”, then “General Plex Discussions”, then “Plex Media Server” the same as it appears today except…today, wedged between Announcements and General Plex Discussions is the Archive group. I don’t recall specifically if it was available before but in a different place in the order, but it certainly wasn’t directly below Announcements.

I’ve looked at options against my profile, couldn’t see anything, I’ve attempted logging in through a different browser to try and eliminate a browser quirk or cookie issue. I don’t think it’s my profile, but rather a change in the forums, which leads me to…

Is there any way to hide/demote the Archive group? Practically speaking its placement just below Announcements makes the Category view cumbersome.

Has to be a mistake - current order doesn’t make sense.

So it’s not just me then? Well at least that’s something (in this moment I’m not crazy

I feel like it’s a mistake as well. It looks familiar but perhaps for obvious reasons not something that I paid a lot of attention to. I want to say that if it was there it was below the Other group?

Right now it’s sorting the categories alphabetically, including Archive, up to Third-Party Developers but then jumps back to Other and then The World is Flat.

I can’t help feel that Archive should be relegated right to the bottom, below any and all ‘current’ content.

It’s a glitch with Vanilla (the forum provider). We’re working with them to get it sorted back to the proper order.

Please tell them that if we could hide sections we don’t use, like we used to, this wouldn’t be an issue. They were pretty rude about it when I asked them directly to restore that ability.

Add it to the long list of Vanilla annoyances. Hopefully eventually Plex will ditch it and switch to something better.
