Yeah, that was one of the first things I tried. It works the first time you launch it but crashes with every subsequent use.
Had this issue, deleted and reinstalled the app. Now it kind of works. I can watch until the commercials, then after showing the commercials, screen goes black and I have to back out and resume the program. Also skips the last 5/10 minutes of each episode. Very frustrating.
Do we have a fix or timeline for a fix? Plex still not working on PS4. No app update, app dies immediately…

Does anyone have any official word if it is a Plex issue or a Sony issue? Who should we call and ask for a fix?
Okay, I completely reinstalled again and this seems to have fixed the problem at last.
There’s a slight performance downgrade while navigating the menus but I’ll take it over the constant crashing.
I’ll update again if the crashes start once more but it seems as though another reinstall fixed it for me.
Plex really doesnt work well on gaming consoles. Test it on a smart phone or tv…if still itritated rather just use major streaming services
I feel like talk like this is thw only way to get the company to fix it
