I have some home videos that have no standard posters, the server automatically assigns a poster. I don’t like the automated poster and upload an image as the selected poster. Refresh metadata. The selected image shows correctly on the desktop of the Windows server but the automated poster shows up on the firestick. I’ve deleted cache on the firestick and the automated poster remains. Not a big deal but rather annoying. Seems like it should be something simple but I haven’t been able to fix it. Searching hasn’t come up with a solution.
Try rebooting the Fire Stick. Hold the select button and play/pause for +5 seconds on the remote. I find this makes it reload the artwork for me when I’ve changed the poster/background and the device is still showing the old art in the app.
