Does PLEX support Clear QAM channels from Verizon Fios?
I’m looking to buy the WinTV-dualHD model 01657 to use with PLEX.
Would this work?

plex does not support any channels directly (ota or cable or streaming or iptv).

Personally I have and recommend an hdhomerun quadro which is a network based tuner (ie a stand alone device that is plugged into your network and your OTA antenna).
Unless the FIOS provides channels like an OTA antenna, I’m not sure if any of those tuners would work.
HDHR does have a cable tv tuner but AFAIK that needs a cablecard to work (which I assume is not what fios uses).
Sorry I wasn’t clear. I’m thinking of buying the Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD turner which says it supports clear QAM channels. I want to make sure plex supports clear QAM (unencrypted channels) from Verison Fios TV.

If the tuner is supported, and that tuner can tune to the unencrypted channels that fios provides, then it should work fine.
As said, plex itself does not do anything with the QAM, it can only use what the TUNER provides.
