I’m running PMS on a 5tb Seagate Personal Cloud, connected directly to router via gigabit ethernet, and the NAS confirms this on its web interface. I’m aware this is NAS is not capable of transcoding.
Direct play to my various devices worked fine up until installing this latest update Version 1.5.3.3580. There were some limitations such as x265 files on the firestick, but on devices like my LG B6 and Nvidia shield this was no issue.
Now i get the message “this server is not fast enough to convert video”. Happens on every device i try to play from, that could play the respective files before. I’ve restarted the server and playback apps. Only thing that has changed is the update to the server software.
Is there a way to fall back to an older PMS version? i cant seem to see any download links for older versions.
