So I have all the past episodes of One Piece (anime 1999), mostly numbered by overall episode number, but when trying to user Filebot to rename them they are not lining up with TVDB. After doing some research, special episodes were entered in season on several occasions throwing the actual count way off. TVDB in their forums, in answer to another person having the same issue, said they will not be fixing it as any “fix” would be switching one wrong method for another. Their position is no list is reliable for this specific show.
Getting to my question,…At this point instead of trying to manually square up over 1100 episodes across multiple unreliable lists, is there a way I can just dump them as is onto the Plex while disabling the metadata search for THIS SERIES ONLY and let my users watch them as currently numbered?
I use themoviedb for Onepiece; however please note that they use the episode number in season so for example the first episode of season two is “One Piece - S02E62 - The First Line of Defense” not S02E01.
Took me forever to get all the episode numbers corrected on the earlier seasons lol.
