Disable PlexConnect DNS server option?

PlexConnect has been working awesomely for me so far, but I'm a little concerned about having my AppleTV point to a DNS server that's running in a job that could crash or I could forget to launch.

 

To resolve this I installed dnsmasq on my linux machine, added a rule for trailers.apple.com, and manually commented out anything having to do with the DNS server in PlexConnect.

 

I was wondering if the authors had any interest in having a command line option to disable the internal DNS server.

It's on the list... I will include this option in the near future.

But... is the dnsmasq not a task that can crash?

=> new settings concept, check settings.cfg for "enable_dnsserver = True"

Agreed dnsmasq can also crash. It just gives me to warm fuzzies to have my DNS server running separately.

Thank you so much for adding that so quickly. Changing the settings.cfg works perfectly.
