I've had PlexConnect up and running for about a week now and I am really liking it so far. However, whenever the computer that has PlexConnect running is shut off Netflix won't load. I figured this is because it is trying to us the ip of my computer as the DNS. I have just been bouncing between the manual and automatic DNS setting on the aTV to fix the problem, but I just wanted to make it as seamless as possible.
Is there anyway to stop this or is that just the way it is?
I've looked around to see if someone had already asked this question and didn't come up with anything. Any help would be awesome!
Trudge is right unless you e.g. have a Tomato/Wrt router (or other Linux router with dnsmasq) then you can use that instead of the PlexConnect DNS server which means it will always work.
In fact, with the latest code, you can actually run PlexConnect itself on the router; when MyPlex support is added you would be able to access shared libraries even with no desktop/laptop/server on in your LAN.
The wiki has a link to a guide on how to set this up.

This is what I really wanted to do, but my router isn't supported for ddwrt or tomato. Makes me what to buy a new router.
