Dissapointed Plex on xbox one, Movies won't play, Transcoding takes hours!

Just purchased Montly 4,99

can’t play any movie, or it will play for 5 seconds, and boom flash error playing playback’’

without or with subtitles, it won’t play… what is this? pff

That CPU will always struggle when transcoding. Plex requires at least 2000 to be safe for most cases when transcoding.

The CPU your “new” pc has is from 2012. The computer may be new to you but the CPU is a laptop class which can’t handle transcoding on the fly. Plex for Xbox is not at fault here. You can see clearly how slow it’s benchmarks are from Peter_W’s link.

hmm then why nobody told me that before purchasing , everyone just saying it works very great on every device. hmm so which cpu u prefer?..
