suddenly when I rebooted my atv I noticed the only icons on the menu was computer and settings. Read something about Internetconnectionloss so I changed the dns to auto and it worked instantly and got the menu back. However I know I must have it manually pointed to my pc to get plex to work. Any tips to a workaround?
As long as PlexConnect is your running on your DNS-pointed host you shouldn’t have any trouble rebooting your aTV… Has the host been awake at that rebooting event?
Somehow the cmdwindow was shutdown instead of just minimized. Could be the kids. I have it autostartup however it pop ups instead of being minimized. That’s quite enjoying… Bigger risk to shut it down by mistake then…

i have downloaded python 2.7 and pywin32 but it doesnt show in services so i cant choose from manually/auto
Now it happens again. Had a powerfail in my house so all went dead. Rebooted everything and same problem. Atv can’t connect. Now I have a apple mini instead of pc with Windows. So plexconnect is set up in start. Rebooted the router didn’t help. Any clue?
IP address of your PlexConnect host changed?
