How in the hell is this still an issue? The Devs Answers SUCK. “It’s a Microsoft Problem.” That’s like telling a credit card reader that it is the reader’s fault that it won’t read a check. Microsoft is the big fish. You are the minnow. Acting stubborn to spite your customers and not fixing the issue whatsoever is trash. Not having contact information to call is trash. Fix the damn issue. Its been over TWO YEARS. I’m sorry, that is plenty of time.
I also don’t understand how “You can’t play audio in the best audio formats like…you know…people who are streaming 4k would like to do…” is in any way acceptable to you. I have been a plex diehard since the beginning bc I viewed it as the best. this is Trash.
Instead of telling everyone it’s a Microsoft problem, how bout you give us an actual way to contact your d…ummm… “support team.” Not just “Support Docs” What’s an email? What is the corporate number. I can find that for Microsoft.
How in the hell is there not an article for a solution or workaround in your “Support Docs?” with all the threads on it, you would think there would be if you truly cared about customers.
Too busy adding pointless gaming that probably no one uses.
“Too busy adding pointless gaming that probably no one uses.”
PLEX stopped being a serious platform when it decided that it wanted to be all things to everyone, kind of like government. It started with “news” and now we’re at “gaming.”
If your having audio issues it most likely is your hardware not a Plex issue. I see a lot of complaints about video and audio playback issues and I would say 99% are related to hardware be it TV, computer, or streaming box being used. I have no issues with 4K playback with Atmos or DTS X.
They do… actually quite a lot, looking at all the recent updates/fixes/…
Given you’re not providing any specific information about the issue you want to see fixed and this is your very first post in the forum… would you mind sharing some more details?
Or is this an attempt to vent?!
