I was trying to sync my movies on my computer and basically update Plex with my recent downloads but it is telling me now the server needs plex pass to sync. Every other time I’ve sync’d I have done it for free. Why all of the sudden do I need plex pass?
Mobile and Cloud Sync has always required a Plex Pass.
What device are you trying to Sync to?

sync does not exist for laptops, and if it did, it would need a plexpass.

Syncing the windows store app on a Windows laptop works very well (I did that just last night on my Win10 Dell notebook), but as the Dr said in the first post - there is no free version that contains sync. It is a premium feature given access to by a Plexpass membership. No way around that, sorry.
