Had to revert to TVDB for classic Doctor Who as Plex would not see anything in my Season 0 folder. You have Specials listed in your online database when accessed through a browser but I could not persuade the server to see anything outside Seasons 1-26. Could someone have a look?
Not sure I follow your explanation… the specials are being displayed as Episode X (with X being the respective episode number) using the default agent of your library but manually matching the show using TVDB will result in Plex loading the correct metadata?
What agent have you configured as the default agent in that library?
Don’t switch your library to an older agent just for one item. It will end up making things all sorts of wacky as the old and new agents will not act well in the same library.
I don’t see anything wrong with specials for that show with the Plex TV Series agents using either TheMovieDB or TVDB ordering.
No, the entire Season 0 does not appear at all using the Plex database. Only seasons 1-26 available. If I switch to tvdb (and I have a separate library for Who and its spin offs so I set that entire library to tvdb) then the Special season appears and all correct. Files all named correctly (S00E01 etc).
