Documentary file matching

Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935

I have several episodes and am trying to match this series:

It does not exist that I can find in TheTVDB. I’ve tried many types of naming in both movie and series libraries and it doesn’t seem to be able to match.

I’ve tried:

MOVIES
Using series year - George Beurling (2012).mkv
Using episode year - George Beurling (2013).mkv
Using series year - Air Aces George Beurling (2012).mkv
Using episode year - Air Aces George Beurling (2013).mkv

SERIES
Air Aces (2012)
-Season 1

  • -Air Aces S01E01 George Beurling.mkv

Am I boned here? Suggestions?

It doesn’t exist anywhere.

Put it in your Documentaries place - Movies:
Fix Match/Search Options/Agent/Personal Media. <—Plex will stop trying to match it.

You can then Hand Edit.

or

You can create an Other Videos Library as a place to put lost travelers:
(I’m a Documentary/Weird Stuff Guy myself)

Just name the file what it is - grab an image from IMDB and the description - a few edits and there you go.

I can’t somehow match it to the imdb listing I linked? How is it in imdb yet unable to be matched?

Nope…

IMDB uses TMDB for all it’s metadata - if it’s not on TMDB - it’s unmatchable.
Fixing it - either way - only takes a moment.
IMDB has everything you need to ‘create’ a Personal Media/Other Videos item very quickly.

You mean this TMDB?

Well - there’s another way then… in fact there’s yet another:

Do you want a one-off Doc buried in a TV Show?
Do you want a Movie?
Pick something and go with it…lol

Well. I didn’t know it re-aired in Canada under a different title. Nice find!!! Matched right up.

How’d you figure that out?

Kewel…

Collapse Seasons for that show and it’ll be right up where you can see it.

When you found the TMDB TV Show listing I checked TVDB and there it was.
Different show name, but still… job done.

Yeah, I do that for a few series like Cosmos.

So do you just intuitively know every re-airing of every show ever, or did you find that alternative title some other way?

never mind, i used the scroll bar and read the rest, haha
