When selecting “All Music” playlist or “Library Radio” does the result include tracks in each of my personal playlists made in TIDAL? The reason I ask is b/c from what I gather, those include music from your library including external media - but do they really tap into the playlists in TIDAL as well? For example, I have a few playlists that are auto-updated on the TIDAL side and would like to know that those are being pulled into the “All Music” and / or “Library Radio”.
Thank you Elan! But to be crystal clear, it does NOT pull personal created playlists in TIDAL - just the ones that TIDAL creates for you (if you liked/added it)?
And since there is no current way to add TIDAL playlists directly (and intact as they are) into my personal library, then TIDAL playlists are omitted? Forgive me for taking the extra time to wrap my head around it. If this is true, would it be a roadmap feature for you guys to bring our/my TIDAL playlists over into the personal library in some way?
I just love Plexamp so much and want to truly understand all the workings of it.
there is no current way to add TIDAL playlists to your personal library, that is correct, and they are omitted. i think one of the reasons is because if there were a way to do that, you’d potentially end up with tons of “orphan” tracks inside your library (artists with a single album with a single track), which perhaps isn’t the best.
you can’t add tidal playlists, but you can add tidal artist/albums/tracks to your library, which then you can create playlists within plex, or use the various plexamp radios to listen to that content.
When I first adopted Plexamp, I made an initial Soundiiz transfer into Plex, but if the file was not in the library, it did not import it. However, I’ve been fine-tuning my personal music library over the past few weeks and will try again. Thanks so much for the clarifications!
