Does anyone know how to get plex to see shows with multiple episodes?

So I just added Alvin & the Chipmunks cartoon series to my library. each show is 30 min long and is split into 2 episodes all part of the same file. when plex pick up the show it labels it wrong. for example season 1 episode 1 is s01e01 - Alvin & the Chipmunks - The C-Team + The Chipettes which is all one mp4 file. Plex should label the show The C-Team + The Chipettes to signify there are 2 episodes here. instead plex creates individual thumbnails for each episodes. see pic.

I don’t wanna have to physically split episodes to solve this.

i don’t think it can recognize multiple episodes in a single file as separate episodes in the interface.
i have a show where the first 2 episodes are part 1 and part 2, but i have it in a single file. i named it show - 1x01-02 -title and in plex it lists it as episode 1, then the next episode is listed as number 3, so 2 isn’t listed but i know it plays with episode 1.
your plex looks really confused with seeing multiple file matches per episode…unless you have duplicates
