Server Version#: 1.41.3.9314
Player Version#: 4.144.1
Ever since I updated to version 1.41.3.9314 I have been unable to play back shows recorded on the Plex DVR. I did find a few posts indicating that rolling back to the previous server version solves the problem, but it doesn’t seem to have any visibility to the Plex team. Just wondering if a fix is in the works for the next version.
@TikiMark I use Plex DVR alot, the only trouble I experience is seeking during recording and this is on all clients I have tested. Once a recording is completed, however, I have no troubles with playback.
Maybe you can describe your problem a little bit more. When you say unable to play back shows recorded, do you mean “while they are recording” or do you mean after the recording is completed?
Is your trouble similar or related to this? Windows DVR will no longer play recorded shows
@TikiMark - I had the same issue and reverted to the previous Windows version (1.41.2.9200) and have not had any issues. My issue was that the shows would record, I could play them locally from the file system but Plex would not play them, is that the same as you?
I have just received information about a new update but do not see that it addresses any issue with DVR playback. My DVR records every day so I will not be upgrading for a while still, not until I know the issue is fixed.
