Massive library of 2000 shows is taking a very long time to download metadata. Anyone know if this is the case or what to look for in logs?
This will take several hours. Probably even longer if the server is on a slow system, like a small NAS.
It’s on a system running 2 x NVME (RAID 0) drives with a decent CPU so speed isn’t an issue.
It is using a cloud based mount though so that might be to blame but I’m positive it wasn’t this slow previously. Does Plex restrict it then if you download X amount over a certain period of time?
It should not. It fully depends on the cache server for TheTVDB (IF you are using the TheTVDB agent).
I cleared the HTTP agent cache for thetvdb just to be sure as well and it’s still slow.
Perhaps there is an issue with the cache server?
