Hello, I cannot seem to watch dolby vision on plex desktop or web app. Why is that? It works on the nvidia shield plex app just fine. I have mbp2019 which supports HDR and I can watch just fine with Infuse Player if I connect that to plex library. Direct play etc.
Any roadmap to get this on plex desktop or web app?

What is the problem?
I have a movie which is dolby vision and when I try to watch it on plex desktop app or web app on my mbp it’s all green and weird colors. This only happens on my computer. If I watch it from tv it’s fine and I can see dolby vision icon on the top right of my tv.
I have tried watching both direct play and transcode on my computer. None of them worked. If I watch it through another player such as Infuse Player then it works.
Why doesn’t Plex app work? That’s the problem. Thank you.

DV on Apple using plex is a known problem.
There is a bug in the plex clients, they are in the process of fixing it. ETA unknown.
