im still having trouble with recording double episodes of shows like coronation street, they have the same title on the recording scedule, and when the first one records, it doesnt record the second one.
episode 1 (example) is 19.30-20.00 followed by episode 2 at 20.30-21.00
any ideas how to help?

I wonder if you could write a script to run as a Post Processing script that specifically looked for this show and renamed it so that Plex wouldn’t think it got recorded, thus recording the second one? I know it’s kind of a hack but might work until Plex gets this sorted or get’s a Manual Recording function added.
You should also ask other Coronation St. viewers to see if the newer versions of Plex DVR have fixed this. That server is kinda old (but the same one I’m running).
The issue of multiple different episodes on the same day has been raised with development and is actually being worked on now
Today’s Beta Release 1.11.3.4793 has changes to address this and will hopefully resolve most of the cases. (I say this reservedly because the information available for multiple episodes may not actually have identifiable differences.)

But it worked in their lab tests, lol.
sorry i’ll re-word, it NOT fixed for the bulk of UK shows. please test and report back.

This fixes the problem where only one episode was recorded.
There remains an issue with episode identification in the library and that is because of the lack of the detail in the Gracenote data. The airing time is used in this fix to label the episodes differently.
