How is it possible to downgrade my PMS to 1.42.xxxxxxx (before new ffmpeg has been added) as the world was great that time?!
NAS: ASUSTOR
MODEL: AS7010T
PMS: latest Version ()
Problem:
Where to find old versions able to be installed on my NAS?
How do I downgrade to that old version on my ASUSTOR as I am expecting that an manual install through ADM-software-install won‘t work?
Thanks
What are the issues that you’re having with 1.43.0?
Did you install from the Asustor store or did you manually install PMS?
There may be previous installs here: /volume1/Plex/Library/Plex Media Server/Updates
You need to remove the existing PMS first. After that you can install 1.42.xx.
Removing the PMS app just removes the install, not your media or server data files.

All streams since 1.43.xxxxx are not running smoothly and it doesn‘t matter if movie and/or show.
OttoKerner mentioned that new ffmpeg has been added so that might cause troubles.
That‘s why I would like to downgrade …
Install from ASUSTOR-store but no chance to find previous versions compatible with ASUSTOR
Sure that only the app will be removed?
100%! Just removed and installed on an Asustor I have with me. In most cases if the uninstall or removal from a NASs store is destructive, they’ll provide a warning prompt.
I couldn’t immediately find the previous 1.42.x builds. I’ll have to ask around.
In the meantime could you please do the following;
Confirm server DEBUG logging is enabled, VERBOSE logging is disabled.
SAVE if changes.
Restart PMS
Give it two minutes to start and stabilize
Start a playback which shows the issue
Let it play for 20 seconds
Stop the playback
Download the server logs
Attach the logs so I may see them.
I’d like to understand what’s happening that making such a bad experience.
