My friends and home users don’t have a download option. I re-checked all of them, have sync and download enable. Also restarted the server. Only sync appears.
Server is a remote dedicated one, so don’t think the shutdown is an option.
Any version that have this working?

If you are referring to the Download File option then what you are seeing is the correct behaviour.
Only the admin can download the original file from the web interface. The offline download/sync option can only be used through the Plex desktop app: https://www.plex.tv/media-server-downloads/#plex-app

I was afraid it will not work on Windows as it says Windows 10 and I have Windows 7. But I downloaded the app and it works. (no problem on Mac side).
