Hello, my name is Elsa

I’m trying to download tv shows and movies to my computer for offline viewing, and so I’ve purchased the Plex Pass subscription to do so, but no matter what I do and where I try to find the Download button as described in your tutorials, I don’t find it anywhere.
Can you please help me?

Downloads are not available in the web app, only the mobile and dedicated desktop apps (see Downloads Overview | Plex Support).

Another thing to note is that downloads are only available for content on personal media servers, and the owner of the server has to grant users permission to download. If you’re attempting to download content from Plex’s own Live TV or VOD service, that’s not possible.

Are you trying to download from Plex’s video on demand service?

That is not supported.

You can download media files stored on your personal Plex server or from a server shared with you (if the owner permits you to download).

Also, only the mobile (iOS & Android) and Plex Desktop for Win/Mac/Linux applications can download media.
