I am afraid for Downloads issues, it is necessary to have logs from both sides - the server and the client app

The server log shows that the Plex for iOS app asked the server if a transcode was needed. The response was passed back but no further related requests were received by the server for Episode 12 of Seinfeld. Would need to see what the Plex for iOS app logged in its logs after this

See ios logs support article for how to download the app logs zip and have it emailed to yourself (Settings / Help & Support / Debugging / Share Debugging Data / and select your email app)

Please try again - and get both the server and the ios app logs zips and attach with details of what was being downloaded and at what time

Are you in 8.17 of the iOS client and can you try Dow loading while at someone else’s network? I am able to download if I am off my network and going through the plex relay, but fail with the same certificate error when on my local network. I also see in the client logs that the client doesn’t like the server cert.

Could you provide me with debug server logs and the Plex for iOS logs zip when it fails. Best to ensure debug logging enabled on the server, restart the server to get fresh logs created and then start a download and gather the server logs and Plex for iOS logs zips
