For quite a while now, I’ve been having issues with downloading from Plex to watch on any mobile devices. It doesn’t matter what device, what OS, there’s an issue somewhere.
On my phone (Pixel 6) running the most recent app version, I can download and watch whatever I want.
On my old tablet (iPad Pro) running most recent app version at the time, I could download absolutely nothing. It would get stuck in queue “In Progress”.
On my new tablet (Samsung Galaxy A9+) running the newest version, I can download ONLY .mkv files, but not .mp4 files. mp4 files will get stuck in queue “In Progress”.
However, when I download an old apk of the Plex app to install on my new tablet, I can download and watch whatever I want with no issues whatsoever.
Any ideas how to fix this for the new version or for any other devices? It doesn’t make any sense, there’s no consistency.
