Download stalling with HW transcode of media

Server Version#: 1.41.5.9522
Player Version#: 10.26.0.2578
<If providing server logs please do NOT turn on verbose logging, only debug logging should be enabled>

New to Plex but server is installed and will realtime HW transcode then stream using GPU. I’m also able to download media to player for offline playback… BUT, if I ask that the download request be transcoded to save local device space, the process starts and then stalls…

any settings I should check or log entries to search on???

can you please do the following ?

  1. Verify server DEBUG logging is enabled (Settings - server - General - Show Advanced
    – DEBUG is checked, VERBOSE is not checked. SAVE if changes

  2. Restart PMS

  3. Wait 1 minute for it to settle

  4. Now start and recreate the failing playback

  5. Play for 10 seconds — stop playback

  6. Settings - server - Toubleshooting - Download Logs

The server will give you a ZIP file
