The second screenshot shows the state when the problem occurs, the music album has been downloaded before, and then downloaded again after a few days. This state is not normal.
I was told @anon18523487 is already helping with that in another topic. He knows way more about downloads than i do. from what he said it is not deleting but redownloading and overwriting but he has not figured out why yet.

Please forgive my anger, the download function has been having serious problems and cannot be used. I have reported the problem for several months. The plex staff has been like a robot, unable to solve the problem for users, and we have no hope of solving the problem.

I understand your original issue of looping downloads has been fixed and what remains is the subsequent deletion of the downloaded music album and re-download.
I need to establish if what we had reproduced is the original looping download or the deletion of downloaded media and re-download
Would you be able to get me fresh logs of the problem - with logs covering download of a new album (not downloaded before) and then a day or so later when it gets deleted and re-downloaded ? Would like to see Plex for iOS logs zip as well as Plex Media Server debug server logs

To help locate the problem, I reinstalled the Plex player and then downloaded a music album so that the log information could be logged.
I will upload the log again when the problem recurs. @sa2000@BigWheel
@s4j4 The logs showed an issue when the Plex for iOs app went into the background and got a timeout on requests that were in progress when iOS stopped running the app.
We have a fix that will be added to the nano Plex Media Server that runs within the Plex for iOS. This will get released in a future version of Plex for iOS. I will let you know when that happens.
