Downloads not updating watch status

When downloading tv episodes to the Mac App it will not update the server that i have watched them. Somehow if i delete said episodes and then ‘re-download’ it will download the correct following episodes. However, if i want to stream to another device it will show the original episodes as not watched.

I have uninstalled plex on mac and re-downloaded the ‘Mac Universal’ which i note does not install but just sits in the download folder.
I have recently updated the PMS-Linux to version 1.41.7.9823

Had the same issue following the latest app release. I assumed it was the iOS app bug or issue so I installed plex on my rog ally (Windows) but the same issue persists.

Whatever I watch on there that I’ve downloaded will not sync with my server. I do not think it’s a mac/iOS problem
