running latest versions of PMS windows and plex app ios
if i steam a video to my iphone the server is updated in real time yet if i download something to my phone and watch it even though im still connected directly to the server the server doesnt get updated i have to update the watch status on the server manually
ok i think i know why it didnt update which is weird because this never caused an issue before, so i was watching a couple of shows and was part way through them when i reset my plex server somehow that messed up those shows, if i play anything that wasnt watched before the reset they work properly and update the server so to fix it i had to set them to unwatched first
