Downloads not working on some smart playlists

I have several playlists set to download on my phone (Galaxy S22 Ultra). Most of the stuff I have downloading seems to be working perfectly. I have several smart playlists however that don’t do anything.

They are all set up pretty much the same way, either a list of shows or a collection, sorted by release date, set to unplayed episodes only, and between 5 and 20 episodes a piece

I’m not getting any errors. It just doesn’t download the playlists.

Downloads does not support collections so any smart playlist that involves a collection will not work.

That’s kinda dumb. It really seems that there’s a lot of work going into half assing new features. Could we maybe get a couple people to work on whole assing at least one feature? Perhaps maybe have a new feature NOT be a step backwards?

How can downloads have been out for this long and they don’t work with collections?
