Did you read my previous post re Android Plex client?
Same problem in 8.27.2.29938 for me.
Just got an old iPhone 7 so gave up my tablet Samsung Tab A to my daughter. Latest OS on both and latest Plex App.
I clear all my Plex Data and reinstall PMS.
Download was working flawlessly on the iPhone.
For Android it was failing until I disabl;e the DNS Rebind Check in pfSense.
This has been open for quire a while and average users would be left in the dirt. Unacceptable if you ask me.
P.S.
I also just realized that there’s no longer a Camera upload feature. Very frustrating day it was!
Here they are. Please PM me for the zip password, I haven’t removed IP addresses etc. from the logs so didn’t want to leave them open on the forums.
It’s still occurring with PMS 1.28.2.6151 and Android client 9.7.0 .
I have multiple qualities of content, so unsure if that’s an issue, or if it’s the EAC3 audio track (I had a TV episode with single quality and AC3 audio download last week). Generally I do not enable subtitles unless there is an “English Forced” track on the media.
PlexLogs.zip (475.3 KB)
I can’t open that zip file. Can you try uploading it again?
I just downloaded it from here and opened it with 7-zip without issue (Windows explorer won’t unzip as you need the password).
Ah. Sorry, didn’t see the part about needing the password. Please PM that to me.
You only included 1 file from the client. I need the entire zip file of all the logs not just the debugging one if that’s how you got this. There are other things in the other files I need to check.
Apologies, I haven’t captured client logs before. Here it is, same password.

What movie or TV show should I be looking for?
Edit - Nevermind.
There are a couple of shows that are failing, one that I supplied in a screenshot earlier, another that premiered today with orcs, elves and rings…
Yup. I see them. There is an odd error, I’m checking with the devs to see if they know what it means.
Anything further on this?
I just tested with a couple of recent series - one that only has one quality and AAC stereo, the other that has two qualities, one with AC3 and the other with AAC. The first one downloaded successfully, the second failed.
New debug logs attached, same password.

Can someone help me? Can’t download some shows, have no idea why. The log goes below. It’s trying to download 2 episodes from the same show. Some shows work, some don’t. It’s random for me.
Same problem here, downloads on my android devices dont’t work. On my Windows10 PC no problem.
Any updates yet? I think a lot of people want information on this problem. Could plex have a bug page open they maintain instead of asking people to keep making forum posts?
The issue for @Speedst3r has been identified and has to do with having multiple versions of a movie when downloading. We do not have a fix for this yet.
@craig_cham If you are not dealing with versions then you have a different issue. Please provide logs so we can check why.
Hooray! I hadn’t heard that the issue had been identified but good to know that at least my problem is understood, even if not fixed.
Think its network related. I succeded using network over usb. Have tried turning off random mac address but this didn’t help might try sticking server on the LAN as i have low confidence in the old wifi dongle in the fedora machine. First linux distro i found that had a working driver for it.
Is it safe to provide entire logs on public forum? I see how to download a zip of server logs. Not so sure about phone logs. Do you just want a subset of logs?
Logs can contain your email, username, IP addresses, and the filenames for your media. If you don’t want any of those shared, you can send the logs to me privately.
