Downloads timeout in android auto

I didn’t use to have this problem, but a few weeks ago I opened Plex amp and I’d been logged out which had wiped my downloaded playlists.

I redownloaded them but now playing downloads in android auto is pretty broken. A couple of playlists work fine, but many when you press the playlist in downloads just brings up the spinning wheel and no songs ever load.

I’ve tried wiping and reinstalling again but I joy.

Please post Plexamp logs after playing a failed playlist.

Also, clearly, it shouldn’t sign you out, and even when it signs out, downloaded things aren’t removed, which makes it sound like (a) you’re using android and (b) the system decided to wipe user data for the app for some reason.

Thanks for getting back to me.

I think it might be that I use the auto playlists based on artist genre for downloads which means they’re quite large.

I’ve just realised I think it’s only effecting the ones that are now over 24 hours after the update to allows that.

Not seeing any issues, but not really seeing much action in the logs, perhaps they were captured long after the actual timeout issue?

Strange as I took the logs immediately afterwards.

Maybe timeout is the wrong word. It never seems to actually stop trying to load the playlist as it’s just stuck at the spinning circle animation. Just tried again and waited over 10 minutes before I gave up and unplugged.
