DS 918+ 4 gig ram: Cannot transcode TRue HD 5.1?

Hi,

Is this right? Playing all my movies with all my THD 5.1 is too much for my server and / or Android Plex TV App to handle? Tries to transcode it but lags / stalls every 30 secs / 1 minute or so?
With and without HW Transc.

I just had a thought: Could the fact that I have a VPN connection which does not allow port dorwarding (Nord VPN) have something to do with it? Then again, videos with other soundtracks seem to play just fine…

Do you know of any software for mac that can easily convert True HD to, say DTS HD or DTS HD MA?

And whilst we’re at it, convert PGS subs to, say, SRT?
