DS918+, PLEX showing "An error occurred loading items to play."

Player Version#: Chrome, iOS, Android all updated

hi guys,
i recently switched from Netgear to Synology, but i cannot get Plex
working on Synology, was workgin fine on Netgear NAS.

hoping i could get some help here, thanks.

Plex server library is reading files ok, and library has matching database so there are file info to match the file name(s).

i can’t think of anywhere that i could look at.

playback doesn’t work via local network streaming nor remote access.

any advice would be nice.

Which Synology are you using?

Can you open Filestation, go into the Plex share (Grant yourself access in Control Panel - Shared Folders if needed), Drill down until you see Logs. Right-click and Compress to Logs.zip

Attach that ZIP file and I will see what it’s whining about :wink:

and after i open filestation, when you say “Plex Share”
do i actually need to have a folder named “Plex Share”?

if you are only referring to the next step granting access permission for plex server, yes i have done that on all the folders from control panel to plex and admin.

and “Logs” , sorry i don’t know where to find that,
is that in Filestation? or would you show me where to get to that please.
