DSM 6.2 is not in beta any more since yesterday

I will advise now, when DSM 7 is released, to not jump so fast to it. I expect I’ll need make changes to work with it just as I did in the transitions from DSM 5.2 -> 6.0 and 6.0 -> 6.1. I’m not convinced there aren’t any issues I’ll need address with DSM 6.2 yet. I will be more relaxed when DSM 6.2 has achieved a wider adoption level.
Ehm, of course it‘s released to the public. It’s neither beta nor a release candidate and everybody can download it through their official download-center. They just doesn‘t distribute the update to everyone OTA at the same day because of limitied server capacities. You can see this phrase in every version‘s release notes.

As with other software developers, Synology is making the final (non-beta) version available on their website, while slowly deploying in-place updates. Apple does this, too. It’s so they don’t overwhelm their servers and support staff - note that DSM 6.1.7 came out the same day, to address any security fixes included in DSM 6.2.

Agree, however you obtain the release version of the code, OTA or not, has anyone seen issues with 6.2?
