DSM 6 Latest to DSM 7.0.1 - Plex did not migrate

You must make 100% certain to have all the permissions set

Given you’ve now installed DSM 7 and PMS didn’t migrate, you’ll have a few steps extra to do

Key points:

  1. The Plex shared folder, and all its contents must grant Full Control permissions to ‘System Internal User’ PlexMediaServer
  2. You will need to Uninstall the DSM 7 app and DELETE the DSM 7 instance
    (either select the DELETE option when uninstalling -OR- Delete the PlexMediaServer shared folder AFTER uninstall.
