“System error 0” occurs when a step was missed setting permissions for the “Plex” share.

1. Confirm all your metadata still exists in Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex media Server
2. Uninstall the DSM 7 package w/ ERASE option
3. Apply the permissions manually as I show above
4. Run package installation again.
5. It should not fuss as much as before and start installing – be patient.
