DSM 7 - Install issue?

I’m trying to install plex again post DSM7. I’ve followed your instruction post best I could. Something happened and the server package installed successfully, but did not transfer any of the original Plex share over. I performed the uninstall and erase and deleted the PlexMediaServer share. Now I’m reinstalling. Here’s the issue. Following my migration log this is what I get:

It’s been converting the links for about 40 minutes now. My package center screen is stuck on “installing…”. I know the install takes awhile when it copies folders over. Is it normal for it to be stuck at this stage also?

I was just impatient. :slight_smile: It completed that stage a few minutes ago now. Onto copying the files!

Successful smooth install!

It DOES take time. Depending on disks and CPU … 3 minutes per 1000 items indexed is the norm. Some more, some less :man_shrugging:
