DTS is a go

That is the expected behaviour.

Ian

Ian, when exactly is this expected? Based on the codecs or container or does Plex transcode everything it gets, when the XBox tries to stream something?

For me, I have MP4 (*.m4v extension), h.264 codec, AC3 and AAC Sound Codecs. When I try to stream something to the Xbox, Plex always starts transcoding.

Is this expected?

We need the log to see why it decides to transcode your files. Restart PMS, replicate the issue as quick as possible, then upload the log.

Posting here for thoroughness, I started this topic...  I think there is actually a much larger issue with the latest PMS after extensive testing.  PMS web is incorrectly reporting a variety of things, including incorrectly reporting of transcoding status, and even incorrectly reporting what is being watched and when.  Will follow up in correct forums.
