So I know I have a really dumb question, and I´m pretty sure I already know the answer, but just want to be sure.
I have a NAS that is only accessible when on LAN network, meaning it can´t be reached outside the network.
Since this is the case am I correct in thinking that PLEX content/server won´t be able to be viewed outside the network even if remote access is enabled in PLEX itself?
Thanks for taking time to read through this simple question.
Thank you for your quick reply.
Turns out I was wrong haha, but this is great it mean I can still share my plex with others even if the NAS itself isn´t available outside my network.
I´ve been going through my router and my modem settings, managed to get the modem in bridge mode and plex itself say its available outside the network, however the connection mapping say it is not, not sure what that is all about.
However I tested with the plex app for android and on cellular connection and it worked.
