Just upgraded my Base 3D to latest fw (b6) and now I get “Impossible to launch application” when I try to start emplexer.
I tried to delete and reinstall emplexer but I get the same error message.

I'm testing the new B6 firmware on my Dune smart D1.
with the B6 firmware, emplexer can now launch on power-on, when added to favourites.
There is now a 3D option
I'm keeping this beta because of the launch on power-on :)

I don't see vidimax plugin on my D1
Also emplexer dose not give me the option to play Blu-ray Lite.

I think so, but I need to do more tests.
As for vidmax is an app that locked by region (forgot I changed it to be able to run on mine) but see this video

Thanks for emplexer! I just tried it and it works very well for movies and TV shows. I have a couple of questions:
1. Tried to use it to see photos and I can see all the folders but when I opened them they are empty. I checked via uPnP app and I can see the photos from there.
2. Is there a way to force transcoding? I know that Dune accepts almost everything, but for Home Movies, Dune does not play videos that are 264/PCM audio in a .mov container (you can see video but no audio). It would be great if we could have Plex server transcode the audio.

Here my issue, not strictly connected with the emplexer, but as I read several of you should have a similar setup (Synology 713+ with DM 4.2 and a Dune D1 with the last stable firmware and only a 2GB Usb keys and no use of the cache), I can navigate in the infos screen after I start the application, but when I enter to view the file (mkv) it requires many seconds before the playback starts.
Any idea?

I'm trying to follow the instructions copy
dune_plugin_emplexer.zip to hard drive and press OK on it .
and nothing just seems to happen
any help would be appreciated

Photo albums are planed to 0.2 version.
Transcoded sessions are planed, to the future ( animes hi10p on dune will be amazing :))

The install package need to be named as dune_plugin_emplexer.zip.

Thank you, newloran2. But I already tried both NFS and SMB but I got always "Error:format not supported".
I setup in the NAS the previlegies for the NAS in the video directory for NFS in several ways but no luck. I can perfectly play the same files from DLNA of Video Station on my Dune D1. Anything else that I can try??

2) how your setup? your plex is on the NAS, or in other computer on your network.

1) I'm able to play the files on my dune! If I explore the NAS with DLNA I have to choices: 1st Video Station: the mkv files start to play after few seconds 2nd Plex Server the file starts to play after quite a long time (even minutes).
2) the plex server is installed on my NAS 713+
if I use http with your app I have the very slow start, like with the DLNA. If I use NFS or SMB I got the error message as reported before!
