To be honest, I dont know.
I'm still studying and doing several tests, but I can not give any dates.
What I was thinking is to release small parts, so that everyone can test, this is the case of remote player module.

Since upgrading my Synology NAS 1512+ to DSM 4.3 I am getting intermittant errors with emplexer with "the server is taking to long to respond" messages over NFS
is this a bug in emplexer or in Synology's implementation of NFS or the Dune ?

Because it is very important for me to use subtitle, and sometimes mkv contain more then 1 subtitle language, and for example sometimes launguage code it is wrong (example EN insteda of ENG....), when I play it....show wrong subtitle, and I cannot do anymore(plex server configuration it is ok, and I don't want change).
It is possible to use you interface EMPLEXER for scraper, title, description, actor,ecc.. but when I play a movie, it's use default player of DUNE PRIME?I'm not interesting in resume playback, or seen movie marked, by plex.
And using default player of DUNE PRIME , I can select subtitle button on remote, for select my prefer and correct subtitle, and use FULL quality of video untouched (without using conversion of plex server).
It is possible to do it, changing in some script?
I'm interest to do it in mkv and ISO (bluray and DVD).

The current default playback mode (VodPlayback) don't have support to select subtitles, but, if you go to setup->application->emplexer you can change the playback mode to DunePlayback, that's are the default playback mode used by dune.
For DVD (ISO and folder), BLURAY (ISO and folder), emplexer use DunePlayback.
About the video quality, emplexer ALWAYS do direct playback (over http, nfs or smb) to use external subtitles you need to setup your emplexer to use smb or nfs.

Thank you!But when I set SMB on emplexor setup with correct path ("smb://mylogin:mypassword@192.168.1.99.D/shares/Videos/hd" ,my movie it is "D:\shares\Videos\hd" of server 192.168.1.99 so i use this and the lan share is \\192.168.1.99\videos\hd" )

I tried to install the plex on my nas Syno ; installation OK but it searches my films on English and i wuld like to have all in french . i tried to put French for lang of pms and choose TDMB also on french but always english .
I have a dune prime BD3.0 and i cant install Plex Client on my dune, when male enter on *.zip file nothing happen ???

is it possible to dont use client on dune and see the movie from dune via NAS ?
In my nas i mounted the usb hdd externe of dune in a folder on NAS and i asked to the plex to do SCAN , is this good way ?

When I launch a movie from emplexor, give me " Empty Playlist". Why??
Maybe you have configured your emplexer incorrectly, so try "smb: / / MyLogin:mypassword@192.168.1.99/shares/videos/hd".
But send me your emplexer.log so I can help you better

First of all: Thanks so much for this cool plugin! :)
However, I have a weird problem:
I added some channels like the Daily Show channel and specifically on that one and the Colbert Report channel I don't get all the categories when I open them with emplexer.
When I open them on my Plex server I see the following categories:
Full Episodes
Guest Interviews
Correspondents
All Videos
Search
When I open them with emplexer the "Full Episodes" category is missing. Sadly as you can imagine this is also the one I'd like to have most :(
Any ideas why this could be?

Being a former DuneX user I decided to look at emplexer which sounded very interesting.
I have plex running on my QNAP EC1279U-RP which works great with all my iPhones/iPads and Android devices and I am extremely happy with it so I thought this sounded the perfect solution for my Dune Base 3D or HD Max however I can not figure out how to get this working.
I have installed the add-on opened it and entered the ip address of the NAS running plex media server and all I keep getting when opening emplexer is

the ip address of the NAS is 192.168.10.200 and plex is using the default port of 32400

But when I try to configure my internal HDD for direct access, I doesn't work. I can access those files via the nfs, but I'd like to access them directly.
I tried:
- /tmp/mnt/storage/
- Sources/Hard Drive/
Everytime I try changing it in those addresses, it automatically seems to go back to the NFS configuration.
Can someone help me?

I have just managed to get around to installing this- and must say it's great to have the simplicity of PLEX on my Dune.....
I'm having a few issues I can't seem to resolve.
Setup:
Dune Smart D1
Synology DS1512+ running PSM (1 share movies_atv3)
All files are encoded to be M4V files
First Attempt: Installed emplexer and setup network share type to be SMB. Play mode VOD. User/Pass correct.
Results: See the library and all the cover art, on attempting to play I get "Error: Format not supported"
Second Attempt: Changed Play mode to Dune
Results: See the library and all the cover art, on attempting to play I get "Playlist empty"
To check the dune can play my files I have added a network share natively to the dune and can play all the files I have attempted.
Last Attempt: Setup network share type to be HTTP. Play mode VOD.
Results: See the library and all the cover art, on attempting to play it works! However this take upwards of 45 seconds to start them movie.
I would like the speed of SMB if possible - any thoughts ??
