for now I'm using the 1.x to see my movies too, but if anything goes wrong very soon it will be possible to upgrade to 2.x version :).

I'm italian and I've read that you've installed Plex on Synology with emplexer. I'll ordered a Dune Base HD 3D and I'll receive it, hopefully, at the begging of the next week. I've installed Plex Media Server on a QNAP and it's working wonderfully. I'll probably disturb you for some tips in installing emplexer.

Is it possible to use skip buttons for moving to next/prev track like in upnp mode and pref/next buttons for fast-forward and fast-rewind? Is there a way to show up the info window that normally appears during playback pressing info button?
Recently there was a problem with Emplexer. At opening of some sections there is an error “the area you are trying to access does not return any xml. (404)”
Seems like once you have selected a filter it cannot be set back to "all". On my system everything was working but I get these errors when just trying to select the movies, ( The first filter is Unwatched ) and that returns no movies for me on web interface, selecting another filter shows me movies.
So .... How do I :
1. Get a filter called all
2. Cancel the filtering once it has been selected
( Even a reboot did not remove it from power off )
Very nice stuff, so sick and tired of trying to keep the dune up to date with something easy enough for the family to use. I put plex in beside my xbmc install just for this !
Correction, The unwatched filter works in the web browser but not in the dune plugin. But the problem does appear to be associated with that filter.

Yes, the skip, fast-forward and fast-rewind all works. The info windows is not working in version 2 but is working in version 1.

Many of the problems reported, happen because of vod playback mode.
It is possible to make the emplexer use the default player dune, so go to setup-> plugins-> Dune playback and switch to playback, it features all of the dune were available for emplexer.
Is worth saying that this mode has a minor issue (the player starts to play about 1 second before sending the video to the point where you previously stopped) and one big issue (sometimes the player in this mode does not send the current position of the video for PMS and the point where it stopped is not marked).
Particularly I use Vod playback and when I want to change to another subtitle i use Dune playback.
For the dune show subtitle in vodplayback need to go into setup-> Playback-> subtitles and enable subtitles by default for files with the emplexer it will show subtitles in vod mode when they are available.

That problem is a Dune bug, if you Bookmarked any plugin and update your firmware or reinstall that plugin, you need to remove the Bookmark and add again.
Try to start the emplexer with that path Applications->emplexer, if the same problem happen, please send-me your log.
