Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me.. I want to try out emplexer, I'm new to Plex in general but fairly IT literate.

I started off with installing emplexer2, it didn't work well. I could not get any content to play from channels and all my media would only display as thumbnails not episode names.

So I thought I would try V1, but when I install that, my Dune says "Installed Sucessfully" then it just says "Impossible to launch application".

Any ideas anyone? My player is a Dune Smart H1, my firmware is version 140610_0131_b8 and the MD5 of the zip file I got from Github is E1EE97CD6F01444A587A0B3647D3EBBE

Yes, that's what I've downloaded, how do I solve the "Impossible to launch application" thing on my Dune when I try to launch Emplexer?

Make sure you have setup emplexer correctly in Setup/Appliations/emplexer.

Check so that you have entered the correct IP, port number etc. to your PMS.

You don’t do the setup in the app. Go to Setup/Applications/emplexer on your Dune.

I followed the readme to install it, still getting "Impossible to launch application". I get the same if I go to Setup/Applications/emplexer and try to configure it.

Getting a little frustrated, all that video shows is that it is working for that guy. Yes, I belive you that it works..it is just not working for me... nobody can help me figure out why I am getting "Impossible to start application" on my Dune then???

Solved it.

For anyone else getting this problem do the following.

1) Delete the app (Applicatons->Emplexer->Pop up menu->delete)

2) Clear flash storage completely (Setup->Miscellaneous->System Storage->Clear Flash Memory Storage)

3) Reinstall the app.

That should fix it.

Channels still don't work though, I guess they are currently unsupported?

Has anyone tried Plex Direct Streaming of an mkv file with DTS audio? Most of these devices require Plex to transcode the file otherwise there is no sound.

This app does not use Plex transcoding. It is direct play of the video file. All Plex provides is the path to the file (and images for wall of covers).

Sorry about my absence, unfortunately i don't have much time on the last months.

Now i come back and as soon as possible I will publish a new version of emplexer.

About the rewind: Unfortunately i cannot fix that, emplexer use the default nfs playback from dune.

This is a Dune bug not a emplexer bug.

About the play  in info screen:  i will fix that in v2.

More os less, i think in the next version ( i will publish that asap), will be possible to replace the v1 with v2, but i have much other ideas to add. 

Now, with the end of Carnival, Brazil starts again :P.
